I think with custom dresses, it REALLY depends on what type of dress you’re looking to buy. I would try on dresses in stores so you know FOR SURE  the fabric, shape, and design of dress.

I have seen some pretty dresses, and also plenty of disasters…but only disasters becasue the style looked good on an online model, but not on  their actual body type.

I bought my dance dress from simply bridal and loved it– but it was simple, sleek, and romantic. No gems, lace, what not. Just a simple cowl-neck gown.

I would also research Jasmines Bridal Shop. There are 6 parts of a post on The Bee.

Hi,

After months of surfing online and reading tonssssssssssss of reviews on all sorts of vendors I decided to email Tony at Fabulousu…I even joined his facebook page and looked at all the customers that posted there and went on their individual profiles to make sure they weren’t fake profiles to advertise. Before the message was even sent properly I got a reply. That was point number 1 for me. All emails are answered promptly, all questions answered with patience (and trust me i’m veryyy fussy) and customer service is at an all time high. I even forgot it was an online transaction. I eventually ordered my bridal gown, my flower girl dresses, bridesmaids dresses and maid of honour dress and he replicated them right down to the embroidery pattern and the detailed beading.  I couldn’t have been happier. My wedding is June 1st tho so I won’t be posting pics before that…but stay tuned..
