So, here is a jist of a story — my mother isnt a big fan of my Fiance. But the rest of my family loves him. and his whole family loves me.
So, going through wedding things online I found someone who did a sign before she walked down the isle, a ring bearer (sign bearer) carried down a sign that said “run _____ run!!” and I thought it was SO cute!!!
BUT – with Fiance and my mother having issues, do you think thats still a cute idea to have, or should I leave it out — would it just be akward??

Personally, I don’t like when people mock the institute of marriage during a wedding. It can be funny in theory, but when you’re actually walking down the aisle getting ready to marry the love of your life, you probably don’t want your husband to be thinking about running, even if it was a joke.

I think for some families that are close and that have that kind of humour it would be hillarious, but since your mom doesnt like your Fiance I would steer clear of this.

Thats kinda what i was thinking…. Its almost like everyone except my mom would think it was funny, but probably not her.
But, i will steer from this.
