I shouldn't have picked today to go on a sugar binge (accidentally) - a cappucino, milano cookie, chocolate cupcake, and water. I was going to take my coworker out to lunch for her birthday, but something came up suddenly and she had to raincheck. So instead of eating normal food, I blabbed on the phone for a while and i'm STILL jittering at my desk :-)
@ everyone - THANK YOU! I appreciate the well wishes, and am filing them all away for when I feel nervous or doubt myself. I will pull them out one by one until i don't feel the butterflies anymore!
That is super exciting! Congratulations! I think making a big career move is riskier than getting married - with your partner, there is a certain amount of solid trust and knowing that they will work just as hard as you will to make the marriage work. Not so much with a new job/new boss/new coworkers!!!

Congrats!! I think so many people are scared to take risks like this, which is sad b/c taking risks can lead to a lot more happiness/satisfaction/success than simply treading water. Good luck!

I resigned today, and will be starting a new job in a couple of weeks! I am so excited to be moving on, and to be doing something in my field (design). I had posted a couple times with frustration about my work place, and I'm thankful to be moving forward in my career, and can possibly move to working from home in the near future. I am so excited about the situation, but wildly nervous - I consider this a bigger risk than moving down south with my BF (now hubby) of 6 months. I have butterflies on top of butterflies! And they're going nuts on caffeine, ha. But if that risk paid off big time, I am hoping this one does too. TGIF everybody!
