Sorry to hear about your kitty and the excess of work you have to do. Hopefully, the good things (like getting internships, congrats!) can be the silver lining!
Awww sweetie, so sorry to hear about your kitty. That's so tough. You'll make it through the books and responses. Take it one step at a time, that's what always works for me. I break things down into smaller tasks so I can check things off my list and feel accomplished rather than having one HUGE to-do item.
Congrats on the internship! That sounds amazing! Sounds like a great reward after some long days.
I'm not having one of those days today but I've had and will have plenty! So sorry about your cat, and I feel your pain about the school work. Congrats on the internship though. This day will pass and you'll have many more just plain old good days than the bad ones.
Thanks for the consolations; I think the worst part about Simon dying is how it affects mom. I hate seeing her cry. We think he's holding on because he expects my siblings to come home, but they're away all week, and he keeps hanging on. Mom has been sitting by his bed for five hours. The poor thing hasn't eaten in almost a week, no water for two days...if we were to get him euthanized the shock of the car ride would probably do him in before we got to the vet, so we're waiting it out. 
Ugh. What a downer. It's no wonder I've been unproductive for the last few days, haha.
I've totally had one of those days! More depressing than happy though!!
Congrats on your internships though! That is very exciting! And I'm so sorry about your kitty I know what it's like to lose a pet that is very very close to you.

The good news is, I have an internship for the spring, and possibly another (with a publishing company! AHHHHHH!) for the summer! Not to mention the fact that the weather is GORGEOUS!
The bad news is, the family cat is on the brink of death and I have two hundred pages of a book to read, plus four short responses to write for tomorrow. :(
It's just been one of those days. On the one hand, totally awesome; on the other, extremely depressing. Is it just me or have you been having one of those days too?
