Ohh my mom makes those things and they are fabulous for aches and pains (try them when you have menstrual cramps)!
I personally think that is a great favor since it is most definitely useful and usable.
Those are definitely practical and they work wonders compared to similar items. Sounds like a great favor idea to me.
Oh I would LOVE to have these as a guest! Such a creative and different idea!
I think that's a great idea! I know I would love to recieve something like that as a guest.
Awesome idea! And it's great because it has a personal meaning to you too.
Can I come to your wedding? lol.. I would love to get this as a favor.
What a great idea! I am rarely EVER a fan of favours but this is an AWESOME idea!
I love how ALL guest could use/want this as well as it is helping a community - Fabulous!
awww, that's one of the sweetest favor ideas I've ever heard!
My one concern would be what if they don't get enough done in time? But you've got several months still, so if you started early, I bet you'd have no problem!

I used to work for a non-profit that provides an art program for adults with developmental disabilities. They work with all forms of media including textile arts. Basically, the sewing class makes these awesome microwavable rice heat therapy neck pillows. I thought perhaps, I could give them the fabric and miscellaneous supplies and a nice donation to make some as wedding favors. I would also attach at tag that would provide information about the group's program etc. I know these ladies personally and know how proud they are of the work they do. Some will be at the wedding and I think they would be proud to see their work on display. BTW...this is not a workshop program. It is not exploitive as some programs for disabled individuals can be.
What do ya'll think?
