I know many people have successfully been able to dye their shoes a different color but it seemed like everyone mentioned water/ sweat damage that would basically render the shoes useless for any other wearing. I was really hoping to get a nicer pair of shoes that I could wear again after the wedding but I don’t really want to spend money on something that won’t look good after 1 wearing. The shoes would need to uphold photos outside in the grass and lots and lots of dancing. Has anyone been able to dye shoes and have them still look great at the end of the night, and if so, what was the trick? Does waterproofing spray work? Are store dyes better then diy? Will satin fabric never completely hold the dye?
p.s if anyone knows of a good quality 2-2.5" heeled, pale blue or navy shoe with some sort of embellishment that would also solve my problem 🙂
