    Hey Bees!

So, my FI's friend's girlfriend is a make-up artist and might do my and my BM make-up for the weding. She quoted me $150 for my airbrush make-up including a trial and $50 each for my 6 BMS; the girls will get regular make-up. Is this a good price? I was thinking of asking her to lower the BM make-up to $40-45 becasue I'm paying for it. What do you guys think?

I think 50 is a pretty good deal as is honestly. The cheapest I could find for my girls is 60 with the majority being in the 75 range. It never hurts to ask I guess but I think your already getting a good deal.

That sounds like a very reseaonable price.

I'm in Arizona and my make-up artist charges $500 for airbrushing make-up for up to 6 people and $50 for each additonal person. The bride also get false eyelashes.

Though I am getting someone from LA to do my make up on the wedding day (I'm having a multi day Indian wedding) who offers sari draping, hair extensions, false eyelashes, and airbrush make-up for $600. Its pricey but I think it's worth the money since I need someone to help with with all my Indian jewelry and accessories as well as my hair and make-up which is heavier than other weddings.

The prices you were quoted sound really reasonable to me. Mine charges $175 for bride's hair and makeup, including airbrush and false eyelashes if I want them. She also charges $100 for the trial.

For BMs, it's $100 for each of them to do both hair and makeup as long as there are 6+, and $125 each if there are one to five. If any of them just want one or the other, it's $75.

Wow, now that I've written it all out, it seems really expensive!!

$175 for hair and make-up sounds really good! I still need to fin someone to do my hair and I'm hoping it's not over $150!!!
