DH and I got back from our honeymoon and of course found that there was not much food left to be eaten. We did however have a box of Wild Rice and a can of Chicken Pot Pie soup (Marie Calendars brand).
Cook the rice as directed in a pot. Then take out a large skittlet and put in two cans of the chiken pot pie soup. Add cilantro, italian seasoning, and pepper (season to taste). Keep the soup simmering and add two tbsp. of butter. Rice cooks for about 35 minutes so let the soup simmer for just as long with occasional stirring.
Once rice is done serve into bowls and add soup ontop.
There you have it! A delicious easyily cooked cold rainy day dinner 🙂
