I'd also love to hear any recommendations. I'm getting my dress from a salon in Philly but need to do alterations in NYC. Would another bridal salon do it even if I didn't buy my dress there?

I am getting to the point where I need to start the alterations process in a couple months (wedding is in July) and I need to find a good seamstress! I'm fairly new to NYC so haven't used anyone here before. Any recommendations? From searching through Yelp and Citysearch I came up with a place called Silhouettes & Profiles, so if anyone has any experience with them I'd also love to hear about it.
