Hi all, as mentioned in some other threads, I’m on my first round of Clomid (fingers crossed)-
Unfortunately I am so bad with BBT charting…Some mornings I remember, and other mornings I get up and move around, realizing later that I forgot to take my temp!
I took Clomid from cycle day 4-8, and am now on cycle day 14. Yesterday I started having slight abdominal and lower back pains that continued until this afternoon.
Also, I had CM for the first time today since my cycle started. Are these good signs that ovulation may be coming?

I don’t know how clomid affects the cycle, but CM – watery or egg white – is typically a good sign that ovulation is coming. I don’t usually experiencing cramping with O but know many people who do.
Finally, when it comes to taking your temp it really is the most effective when done immediately upon waking up while still laying in a prone position. I travel a lot for work, into different time zones in the US, and I always keep my alarm set at the same exact time each morning n my home time (I go back to bed after temping if I can). I use my phone alarm right next to my bed, and the alarm actually says “temperature” so in the event I am too tired to remember on my own, that usually jogs my memory when I grab my phone. It’s very reassuring to have tracked my temperatures “right” and see that big rise to indicate and confirm that I ovulated successfully!
