Fiance is wearing a black suit at the wedding instead of a tux. His attire will include a nice shirt, a vest, and a rouche (not sure if this word is used in the US but it’s basically a thicker tie), but we don’t want a tux as we want the suit to be something he could wear again.
Having said that, we’d like the suit to be of good quality. Any suggestions as to where to look for one?

@shaunna: Defining a “Good Suit” is dreadfully difficult without having a budget first. The real question is:
“What are the best suits I can get if my budget is _______ “

If you’re in a moderate price range, my husband just bought a suit from J.Crew that is pretty nice- I had a 20 percent coupon so it was around $500.00. For our wedding we found a designer suit on ebay for a few hundred more- while it’s nice, I don’t see much of a difference. However, I do like the J Crew suit better because it’s a more modern/slim fit.

I second JCrew. My husband got his suit there for the wedding. They have a wide range of sizes, and the cut and fit is really nice.

@Verno Inferno: The budget is up to 600 dollars.

The Mens Wearhouse is a good option also. If you go in there, tell them your budget and they will get you all set up with all your needs. They have never had an issue with sizes or fittings. Their tailors are always on site and thats a plus in my book.
Good Luck! Hope you find what youre looking for hun!
