For my wedding I want to make those really pretty tissue pom poms. You can buy them online and at Michael’s pre-made but I found them to be pricey. I’ve actually helped my friend make them before and they’re very easy. All you need are a few friends to help you and it gets done relatively quickly.
Do any of you bees know a website where you can buy cheap tissue paper w/a good color assortment? I’ve google searched it but I want to know where you bees have found good deals at. 🙂

hmm. i don’t know of an online source but target has some solid-colored packs for a decent price. i think right now they are mostly “spring” colors (bright), though I did find some black in the graduation section.

wow, those are gorgeous!! does anyone know how much tissue paper you need for one pomander? and what size styrofoam ball do you recommend using??
No styro foam balls. All you need is 10 sheets of tissue paper and fold like a fan. wrap a wire around the middle of the folds and then start separating each row of tissue. The instructions are on Martha Stewart website under pom poms. Very easy to make ….about 5 minutes a pom pom.Attached are some pom pom pictures. I’m using the red ones for a picnic I am doing and the purple arragement is for a friends wedding!
These are both tissue.
