I honestly pick a few celebrities who have similarly shaped faces and similarly colored complexions, and see what looks best on them. For me, I tend to look at Michelle Williams and Rachel Bilson. Usually they'll have some red carpet looks, etc, that work, or more casual pictures for day-to-day.
