... and proof that you (1) don't need to be naked or show your body to do boudoir and (2) don't have to have a perfect body.
I'm a size 14/16. And I love my boudoirs.
Just wanted to share this with those who might feel a little apprehension about this whole experience. It's very liberating and you can wear whatever you want - even if its a plain tshirt and flannel shorts. It's so much more about the 'look' and feel of the photos than it is about showing skin. (Which you can do as well, but just sayin'). An amazing photographer never hurts either. Airbrushing hasn't happened yet so please forgive my crows feet.

Um, wow. This makes me want to do a boudoir shoot! Thanks for sharing your pictures!
Thanks everyone!
Absolutely no one should hesitate to do these. If you're even thinking about it, just book it. You won't regret it, and you'll be surprised by the results.
Looks amazing!!! My fiance always says that the suggestion of boobs & whatnots is a lot more hot that actual boobs and whatnot. Which is, I guess, why Joan Holloway is the biggest sex symbol in the world right now.
Seriously, you look amazing. I love the makeup and I think you can forget about the photoshopping, its not at all needed!!
Very classy and amazing! I so badly want to do boudoir photos... my FI wants me to as well... He said he would like me to do pin up style with clothes I'm comfy in so I think I might! You're a great inspiration! =)
You look fantastic! And what great photography!
Fair warning for when (not if!) you do this: you will have some absolutely horrendous pictures. Out of 100, I like maybe 45. I look completely absurd/unflattered/sexy-not-really/trying too hard in a lot of these. It's bound to happen so don't get frustrated!!! You WILL get keepers!
YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!!!!
i just did mine on Friday and I got the CD today in the mail. I am a size 18 and pray that I love them! eeekkkk i am so nervous. I hope i look half as good as you do!
@KristenGotMarried: that's how I feel about all pictures I'm in... I like 12 out of 200. It's worth it just for the 12 cute pictures though!
vavava - voom! You look great!
I really wanted to do this for my husband, but I couldn't work up the nerve cuz i felt too fat to do it. Thanks for posting the encouraging words...maybe I'll reconsider and do it for myself!
@angeebride: Hold up. Are you kidding me? I just saw your recap pictures. There's absolutely nothing 'fat' about you, and you're stunning! I absolutely think you should do boudoir. Maybe for a first anniversary gift?
And thanks again everyone. I appreciate your support and kind words. GO BOUDOIR!
WOW amazing! Makes me consider maybe doing some. Your pics are inspiring.
Goodness gracious you look stunning lady! I need to get some balls to do this. Maybe just maybe for Valentines Day.

Here's another one - I mean for crying out loud, I have my eyes closed! Ladies, I'm positive that you have a bra, can lay on your back, and close your eyes. This is one of my favorites and I feel like there is absolutely NOTHING scandalous about this picture... yet it's pretty sexy somehow. ?
I also have ones with my cleavage hanging out that turned out pretty well, but I just wanted to show that boudoir can be way more than showing skin.
Yay!
@KristenGotMarried: The last one is the best....frame that baby and give it to your sweetheart...OMG...you look amazing!!!
I agree. I just looked up some photos online and I saw more than I needed too. Plus I would be mortified to have that out there. I've always seen such tasteful pics on here and it gives me some inspiration. Yes that last pic as simple as it is, is beautiful!
Thank you for sharing these. It does prove that you can be modest and sexy at the same time! Lovely pics!
LOVE them! I did boudoir too and it was soooo outside my comfort zone but I adore the pictures. It was such a fun experience and I feel so beautiful when I look at my pics. Mine were very tasteful as well and I seriously want to make it my coffee table book! haha. I have a few of the "lying on the bed in my bra" pose and I love those!
Holy Cow... you can forget photoshop cause' you look amazing as is. I love how you can actually use some of these for decor around your house. You look comfortable, sexy, and elegant!
You look beautiful. This makes me feel better. I was still tossing around the idea of this. Probably not before the wedding but for an anniversary one year. Seeing a woman my size looking so amazing makes me realize that we are really just to critical of ourselves because you are smokin!! Thanks for sharing.
@chemere: That's not my house ;) The photographer did a marathon session and she booked an executive suite at a hotel downtown. I wish my house was that pretty! But thank you for the compliments!
@organizedbride11: Do not fear, my friend. I was actually one of the smaller girls who did the marathon (I can only see their main picture of their album on the photog's site), but the way she shot all of us really made everyone look fantastic. Angles, lighting, props (pillows, sheets, chairs, whatever) all help in the process.
There is NOTHING to be ashamed of or worry about. Your partner loves you, every part. Hopefully you do too. :)
