(Thought Id take a shot at another posts on the bee…)
Sooo ladies, I purchased a veil and it turned out to be a different veil then the one pictured. The veil I received in the mail has two extra layers (read as way more poofiness then needed) including a blusher that goes past my knees (I’m 5’1)
The veil IS STUNNING…for a bride that is taller and who doesn’t wear hijab (her hair will be done on her wedding day)
I REALLY love half of the veil and think it would look gorgeous on my dress…but the blusher is attached to a piece of lace on the top of the veil and then to the bottom layer. I am REALLY worried about even trying to fix this veil.
I have 2 more months until my wedding…What would you do?
Attempt to create the veil of your dreams you thought you were receiving? Or just return it??

Sorry, no help here but I love your message subject…made me giggle a little 🙂

If you generally like the veil, apart from the length and layers, you could take it to a seamstress to have her shorten it and trim it down. It should be extremely easy and not terribly expensive to do.

@SimplySassy: lool thanks
@KCKnd2: I hope so! I paid almost $200 for it, so Im wndering if it even worth it

Can you return it and get the veil you were hoping for? If not, I second the seamstress idea, but I would check into returning it first – just in case.
PS: Best thread title EVER. 🙂

I say return it if you can and see if they can get you the veil you want. Or maybe take pictures of it and post on etsy to see if anyone can make it for you

GAAH The seller said I can return it. *sigh* half of it is exactly what I want.
Turns out the original veil I fell in love with is a TRAIN off an Enzoani dress. Not sure how to get that lol
