@blushbliss:  In the inspiration picture there is a top layer of sheer fabric over lace that hangs down a bit further. Does she have the sheer fabric coming down over the lace in your dress? Or does they lace hang lower? I can’t really tell.

I love how you get a peek of that pretty fabric on the original dress so as long as your still getting that I think it looks great!

I hope that makes sense. I couldn’t figure out how to word it.

i think it looks great! and i agree, the more dramatic sash and bow actually look  better.

I love your short dress!

I get what you are saying about the sweetheart top, but it really looks VERY similar in how deep it is cut to your inspiration photo.

My only concen would be the color of the satin (?) sash and bow.  It looks like it clashes with your dress color.

I actually like the pics of your dress better than the inspiration pic! Very pretty.

I like the big bow!  I’m guesing that there are snaps or clips in the back so the belt can detach – that part does look a little bit sloppy in my opinion.

Overall, it’s super pretty!  I really like it!

@blushbliss:  I agree the skirt needs some more poof and the neckline should be adjusted for a more defined V. I think it looks really great overall though!

@blushbliss:  It looks good! I agree that it needs an underskirt to make the satin skirt part stand out more.

I have to say I really don’t like the much larger bow. It changes the character of the dress entirely. But if you like it, that’s good!

Definitely make sure she understands that you need a detachable sash though. The line at the back of the sash may be a place where it comes apart, so the bow she made will stay in the sash but you can still remove the sash, though that would strike me as weird.

I do think the neckline could have a deeper V– it would look prettier that way.

In the original there is a peek a boo hem that hangs under the organza which I dont see in the replica. Also I would double check the length. It does look quite short unless you are short it may look like a mid theigh length dress vs. knee length. Also a crinoline will poof it out and make it shorter, so def be sure it’s hte proper length. Other htan that it looks great!
