My White Chocolate Diamond Candle came in the mail today!! Now the big decision I have to make: should I go ahead and open it and burn it, or should I put it under the tree for myself for Christmas???? :D
OK...why don't I know what a diamond candle is. Can one of you ladies enlighten me...I have never heard of it! Thanks!!
Ooooo, well I didn't either until I came here! It's a candle that has a random gemstone ring inside, it's like the ultimate 'prize inside of the cereal box'! And it's the perfect present for myself because it combines three things that I love: candles, jewelry, and the lottery! AND I've been wanting to buy myself a pretty cocktail ring lately to pamper myself with, but with so many options I haven't been able to decide on one, so this way I get a pretty ring at random and it will be a total surprise!
Just Google it, it will pop right up! :)

Oh my this looks so fun! I would totally not have the patience for it to burn.,..i'd be chipping away at it hahaha, sorta like a tootsie pop!
@MarieChristine: haha, that's what I'm wondering! Or is it like the 50-cent fake rings that you get in the grocery store? (If so, what a fabulous marketing scheme, getting all these ladies to buy their candles!)

@joy2011: A friend of mine got a medium nicer one, she had it apraised and they said 200-250, so that is pretty good. For me, $25 would decent enough entertainment value for DH to watch me freak out watching a candle burn. LOL
I have gotten a diamond! You can get some very nice things, but its like the lottery ;)
I dig mine out with a fork and a blow torch like lighter. i can't freakin wait!

Burn it!!! I just got my first and I got a cheap ring but the candle smells really nice. I got lavender lemon.
Are you serious? I tought it was all cheap rings? you know just for the fun of it.

How is the white chocolate scent? I got cinamon bun and it was too sweet to me

1. burn the candle
2. take out the ring
3. take picture and upload it on here!

I told my SO I wanted one and he looked at me stupid when I tried to exsplane it -nice to see proof they dont just have crappy rings in them!
I told FI I thought it was snazzy, but since I don't particularly like candles, I wasn't sure that I wanted to buy one for myself. I thought about getting his mom and sister one, but I don't like giving people candles, either.
I ended up winning one in a contest. I'm totally going to start burning it the day it gets here. No digging, just burning.
My fi bought me one after I heard about it here on the boards. I got a fake ring that was way too big. It was pretty though!

Its awesome to see that diamonds do come out of those candles sometimes! I secretly hope I get a diamond, but I will be happy with a big pink or purple or even green gemstone ring!
Okay, so it sounds like I need to go ahead and burn the candle :). I will open it up this evening when I get home from work and get it started!
Much to my surprise, when I told SO what it was he didn't give me a funny look or make any jokes, whew!!
Definitely burn. =) I'm hoping FI adds more to my collection. I'm obsessed.
I really want a DC! I told DH and mom that I wanted one for christmas. I'd probably dig my ring out with a fork and blowtorch too!!!
I have read so many post about this candle that I want one now, but the site shows unavailable for the ones i have looked at. TOTALLY burn now!!! :) We do too much waiting already, might as well start enjoying and burning now.
I got mine out a few days ago . . . .spilling wax everywhere in the process. At least my backpack smells good now! It was a cheap one but I like it! I like clean scents and got the Dusk. I'm a fan.
@mkendrick: I'm so sad because of this. How am I supposed to impulse buy when everything is sold out? 
@MissBoPeep: When I first looked everything was sold out but I signed up to get an email when they come back in stock and it only took a couple of days.
@Natalieh86: I signed up for the email too, it's just hard for me to justify buying one when it's no longer an impulse buy! Now I have time to think about it and decide not to spend the money.
@MissBoPeep: haha, that makes sense. But look at it this way, now when the email comes you have to buy it because it might be your only chance.

Mine came today too...at least that's what the delivery website says...I can't wait to go home and find out!
I bought one for my mom's Christmas gift and one for myself. I really really wanted the Lavender Lemon and Apple scents but they were all sold out so I got Cozy Cabin and Harvest Blend.
They should be coming in tonight, I'm going to burn mine right away! I don't even know how to keep it a secret from my mom because I'm so excited about this silly candle.
yes yes yes too much waiting......you deserve that ring girl! Let's see it!
