Aw yay! Lovely. I love the face in the first pic. I have so many like that. I was like "mom, really!?!"
I bought this dress for my wedding day as well and me & my honey are planning on having a vintage theme as well (TWINS! lol)
I am so in love with dress and I'm dying to show him but of course I cant. I'm 5"2' so that bow is defintely goin to be altered. Great to know that I'm not the only one that is madly in love with this dress. Congratulations :)
This is the diamond white. The alterations at a private seamstress were $160 for hemming, taking in the waist, and a bustle. :) I got a MUCH bigger pin for the center of the bow too. I look at these pics now and it's like it doesn't even look like me since I've been darkening my hair back to my natural color for the wedding, so now it's more chocolatey. I'm wearing the fully encrusted rhinestone slingback heels from Benjamin Adams with it. I can't wait til April!

I got my dress today! I went to Alfred Angelo to try on Ariel 201. OMG It was...um...I looked like a triangle. I had no bust at all! And I thought it was going to be THE dress. Then the girl says to me, "Let me just show you this other one I really like...." It was def my dress!!! I teared up once she put the little pin on the bow. We need to alter the bow to be more my size (I'm 4'10 so the bow is half of me haha), but I love it.
We are having a glam vintage-style Vegas wedding. For an idea for any other brides looking for someone real wearing this, I am a street size 2, 5'1 in heels, 34B, 33 bust/26 waist/38 hip. This is a size 4 (which is what we ordered) in Diamond White.
I knew when I was about to sneeze it was a good sign.
"I'm so little....am I Bridal Skipper or Carrie Bradshaw? Hmm."
The back. Totally over the top and I love it...especially the corset back. :)
My favorite thing about this dress is that it emphasizes my curves, but that I feel like working out regularly will only make it look better! (toning up my arms, upper back, etc) It really takes the pressure off knowing you have a dress that emphasizes what you like about your body but that you know the things you're already doing will just make it better (my fiance and I are trying to work out 2-3 times a week just to get in better health overall, not for any weight loss goals or anything specific...except maybe better cardio for the honeymoon **wink wink** :D).
