CUUUUUTE!!! And I like what you're wearing in your hair too, you should consider having a hair piece similar to that -it goes so well with the style of dress
.
YAY! I have totally been waiting for someone to buy that dress! Thanks for the PM letting me know you got to try it on. You look adorable in it, I even love the shoes. Are you going with the straps added, I hope so, I think they just add alittle something to the dress. YAY! Congrats on finding your beautiful dress!
Your dress is so cute, it's such a fun dress! I actually like it without the straps. What are you going to do with your hair?
Congrats on the weight loss! I understand why you are still getting used to it, but that is a huge accomplishment.
The dress is really pretty and it looks great on you!

So, my mom asked to go wedding dress shopping for her birthday on Saturday. I reluctantly agreed. I really didn't want to go since it was so soon before my actual wedding (we do have a venue and caterer already, so I guess we are just getting an early jump on everything). So, off I went with my mom only to David's Bridal.
Awhile back, while I was searching desperately for 1950s inspired dresses on a budget, someone wonderful told me to look at David's dress:
(I know, sorry about the size of this picture. I cannot figure out how to make them smaller after shrinking them once)
This was the first dress I tried on. I gave it an 8 but without a short petticoat to make it fluffier, it wasn't going to win me over. I then tried on several short and long lace dresses. One came close to beating the Oleg Cassini dress pictured above, but I just wanted to see the other dress again with a petticoat skirt. Luckily, Davids found me the only short one they had and as soon as I slipped the dress back on, I squealed with delight.
My mom, who suffers from clinical depression, began to giggle and jump as soon as she saw me with the dress back on with a slip to help. While she wasn't for the short dresses to begin with, she LOVED this one. I wasn't sold until I heard the price and realized that this dress, with heels on, was near perfect. I didn't care about wanting to wait more or try on dresses. I just wanted to take it home with me (which I didn't... put it on layaway)!
So, here's me in the dress with and without shoes. Please excuse the horrible pictures from my cell camera. My mom has no clue how to take these pictures. Also, I am awkward simply because I've lost around 40lbs and am still not too comfortable posing or even wearing a dress!
