What a gorgeous dress!!
I think yours looks better than the original!!

@Barbiestylez: I’m not good at this either, but here is what I (think I) noticed:
– The original seemed to have more tones of white to it, like mixed in together, and this one just seems super white (1 tone).
– The original has more layers of fabric, way more layers.
I only spend a few seconds looking at the pics so please don’t take me too seriously, lol.

@leembee: Thank you! I am so excited! I want to be as low manintenance as possible. AS of right now, I dont see any flaws. I think If anything is wrong, I will know when the skirt is done because obviously thats going to be the trickier part. Im very happy!

@O.My.Heart: I see what you are saying on the tones… I just chose 1 ivory color off the swatches… I also think right now they are trying to get my approval on the bodice/overall look which I am happy with:) Once the skirt is finished, Im sure it will be fuller–muchh fuller! I appreciate all your eyes because I could easily miss something as I am not detail oriented with dresses! LOL

I’m terrible at seeing the details in dress pics, but I will say, from what I see the dress is stunning!

@Barbiestylez: I don’t think I’ve ever seen a replica look so so similar to the original. Especially around the bodice and neckline. I think this is a great base and I can’t wait to see how they ‘poof’ the skirt with layers.
It looks awesome!!!

The work on the bodice is STUNNING–and I’m saying this as someone who worked as a costumer/seamstress for a few years!

It looks really good. The one thing that’s bugging me a bit is the the draping over the right hip (of the person wearing the dress) doesn’t seem quite right, though I can’t pinpoint how. It’s hard to tell though because of the photo angles.
@Eckle: The angle or lack there of is off. I see it too. Instead of coming down towards the navel area and tapering off it goes straight across to the middle and other hip. It almost looks like a mistake the way it is done currently.

I love it! I think the bodice is spot on! And it sounds like they’re still working on putting more volume in the skirt – so I think that will help it match the inspiration. Congrats!

I must say it’s an amazing replica
