Got the 1.2 oval today…

@Heidibrooke:  I thought bow ties were “normal” for ovals…only when it takes away from the diamond by making it dark, is it a bad thing….Is the new diamond you have dark due to the bowtie?

Since you’re not completely happy with it and you’re able to return, I’d vote to keep shopping until you find the diamond you like 🙂

I have an oval and mine doesn’t have a bowtie either.  If you’re not truly happy, then keep looking. 

I think the current oval you have now is gorgeous, but YOU need to love it 1000% otherwise you’ll always wonder.

Why do you want to change the oval you have now? 

It looks much better than the new one – I agree with you about the bowtie on the larger one being distracting.

I have an oval without a bowtie. The bowtie is caused by the type and QUALITY of the cut. Keep shopping.
