@Sheevann:  if I had free reign I would have chosen the same theme!

I would suggest reading about Gothic subculture. Being Goth a few years ago, I found it was a common misconception that people made, that Goth = Halloween, but it’s not. There are many different Goth fashion trends. And mine had nothing to do with Halloween. It was more Romantic. I used to wear dresses like the first picture all the time, with corsets, long black lace or velvet gloves, elaborated make-up (smokey eyes, cherry lips), jewelry chokers. I would never have done skulls or anything like that. I prefered purple to red. But I saw many Cyber Goths wearing electric blue or lime green as their accent colour.

Here’s for fun. 🙂

Once you decide which ”Goth” type appeals to you, the decor will be more coherent than just throwing just about anything ”morbid” on the table.

Wow me too!! I was going to go get married at the Goretorium in Vegas before it filed for chapter 11, all for my honeybear!! He wanted to get married with gore and blood being the theme, and I just can’t handle that. He wanted to be dressed in red and black, and I hate the color red and have always wanted green, and red and green is definitely not Halloween! So I decided to do jewel colors and skulls. He didn’t really want wire either so I went with champagne, since I wanted some light in the wedding :). I have looked and looked and looked all around for ideas to match my theme, and it’s close to yours so maybe I can help narrow down your search!

Now, for the hard/fun part, besides Halloween, what do you have in mind for your wedding? Do you want to go all out Halloween? Do you want it to be scary, fun, traditional, vintage etc? Do you want it to look like Halloween or feel like Halloween, does that even make sense? I have logged in hours on the phone narrowing down my theme, because Halloween/scary can go in so many directions! What does your dream wedding look like? Let’s start from there!
