And FI is sick….I begged him not to have his bachelor party the weekend before the wedding and he came back hacking up a lung. He still is, his voice sounds awful and he’s a pretty big downer when he’s sick.
Its horrible but I’m down that tomorrow is the day and we’ve planned a roadtrip honeymoon.
If it were only next weekend, he would be healthy and happy again…

Get him some Vicks, make him gargle warm saltwater, make him some green tea with honey…and take deep breaths and try not to let it get you down 🙂 I know that must be frustrating and you want to ring his neck, but at this point, he just needs to do whatever he can to get himself feeling decent for tomorrow. Good luck! I hope it gets better!

bed rest and lots of fluids. hopefully he will be better tomorrow.
a friend of mine’s sister had a DW and wasn’t feeling well the morning of. she made it throgh the ceremony, had the first dance, then told her husband she was going back to the room to lay down. he joined her. her mother took care of everthing, they didn’t want to make a big deal of it and left the reception quietly. they wanted their guests to still enjoy themselves. she ended up having the stomach bug.

@jpalm13: Oh no! That is totally my worst nightmare – one of us being sick at the wedding. Can he go to a walk in clinic today to see if there’s anything they can do for him? Or try Mucinex? Zicam?
I’m so sorry!

@jpalm13: Vitamin C!! And honey is the best thing for throats! Tell him to rest as well, get sleep! And you breathe and relax! Everything will still be beautiful and no one will care if his voice is a little scratchy!

Everyone’s got that nasty cough/URI going on around here, it’s now being referred to as the creeping crud 😛 Saltwater, Sudafed (the real stuff, not the worthless crap that’s sold on the shelves), lots of fluids and rest!

Orange juice, sleep, green tea, soup! Hopefully he feels better tomorrow.

Get him to the doctor ASAP to get him on some meds and to see what is going on if you can. Hope he feels better!

Get him a Z-pack stat! Adrenaline and a little wine will take the edge off. You’ll still have a wonderful day, not to worry! Some things we can’t control – this is one of them. Make the best of it!
