I love the burgers but I do think the wings are a little messy for a wedding. Maybe breaded chicken tenders with sauce on the side or something....
I love the gourmet burgers but I think the wings might be a little messy for a wedding... Although I do love me some wings :). Maybe consider another type of sandwich you could jazz up (chicken breast marinated, crab cake buns)? Sauceless wings would be ok but there's still bones everywhere you know?
I love it! My brother is doing something similar for his wedding..They are setting up stations of "make you own" kind of deal. One station is a personal pizza. I think you can make it classy and wedding:)
I really like the idea but I feel like the majority will feel like everybody else. I just dont want to be stuck in the lines of a traditional wedding. I really want to keep the gourmet burgers theme but now I dont know of another option to go along with it. :/
Why not keep the burgers theme, add patty options for those who don't like beef (like turkey or chicken patties and a veggie burger) and then offer all the toppings for them all? Everyone should be content then!
For our late night snack we are doing a burger bar and a French fry Buffett. The burger bar has the option of beef patties, pulled pork, braised short ribs and friend chicken plus a top of toppings. The French fry Buffett has different kinds of fries with all different toppings... Maybe something like that?
Yeah, that's a good idea to consider about just having different types of burgers for people to choose from. I'll have to see. I'm also really liking the different fry options s well.
Thanks guys! : )
(though you have to admit the wings in that picture look amazingg!)
Those all look so tasty! If you were to do a 'dry rub' on the wings they'd be less messy, just serve with a dipping sauce on the side.
Well I think this all looks great. Messy food won't really be a problem at a casual wedding.
I think these are great ideas!! Remember, its YOUR celebration. I think you should do whatever you want at YOUR celebration. Others are there only as your guest and to be happy for you two. If people make a stink on what you do for your wedding, and your money being spent on it, just ignore them. You can tell them, they could do it for their own wedding.

I'm having a casual wedding and I didn't want typical food that's served at weddings, especially since my fiance's brother just got married and served roasted chicken or filet mignon. So I would like to mix it up a bit and serve something like these options
Is this too "cheap" seeming? Also, do you think the wings would be an unpopular decision?
I think it's an adorable idea but a few around me have expressed complaints....
