I think I saw a post on here a long time ago about www.wedclean.com You might want to do a search. I think most people were happy w/the service.
I used wedclean for my gown and veil and it was super easy! Including shipping and everything it was under $200. I believe their standard rate for any wedding dress is $149 and a veil is $20...then the shipping...but they mail you the packaging for your dress and it was very easy. I got my dress back within one week and it's perfect! They also warrantee their services for life, so that's a good thing! Be warned that the box it gets shipped back in is very very big! I'm barely 5' and my dress wasn't all that poofy, but it looks like they folded my dress in half and sent it back to me! So now it sits in my basement for storage! But I definitely recommend them! PM me if you want more details!

Just wondering if any of you have recommendations for gown cleaning in the Philly/DE area. Also, did you preserve your gown? I was just checking out the place that is recommended for my gown (Palazzo) and was shocked to see that their preservation prices start at $500! I already think that $500 is expensive for alterations and couldn't imagine spending that amount after the wedding. However, I will have to get the gown cleaned somewhere, and I want to go to a place that's experienced with cleaning delicate gowns.
