Taking all your wonderful suggestions into consideration, I have a new and final drink poll.

Thanks so much for all your feedback on this so far. This is a great help.

    pinot :)

I noticed dark beer has now disappeared from your poll :( don't let the lack of votes sway you -- WB is all women! Men drink more dark beer :)

A nice chilled Pinot sounds PERFECT for a noon-time event.

I would drink Cabernet and DH would have Miller Lite. Just in case you needed both of our choices for this poll as well.

@daydreamwanderer: i know. Winki took it out of the mix for this pool...very stategic market analysis going on here. lol. (not really, but i'm trying to get it to the point that even if i don't have what you want, i have something you will be happy to drink...without busting my budget)

I like alcohol as much as the next person. But I do not drink it during the daytime. Of the folks I know who drink (most don't but some do), none of them drink during the daytime either.

Even if I did drink during the daytime, I don't drink beer or wine at all. So I would be looking for soda, lemonade, coffee, etc.

I put other because I don't drink beer or wine but I'd be fine just having soda or water

@Ember78:  Really??  Day drinking is one of my favorite activities!  I don't think I know a single person who drinks at night but wouldn't drink at a day time wedding.

@coffeekitty:  I agree with the previous poster who warned you not to put too much stock in this vote since weddingbee is mostly women. I would think men would be more likely to drink beer than wine.  I would have Pinot and Hubs would have miller lite.

@Moose1209: i'm a fan of day drinking and a morning person in general. that's why i'm getting married at 11 a.m. I am too anxious to be sitting around all morning. I want to get to the good part right away! lol

I think those are fine.  You have a lot of simple and general choice, so most people who drink should be satisfied.  Don't over think it.

I do think it would be cool if you offered a mimosa or screwdriver or some other kind of brunch drink.  I know if there were mimosas, I'd knock those back!

Love love wine!!! Can you have both red and white? I'm a huge red fan and won't drink white.

I would drink white wine and my SO would drink either a light beer or soda. (I voted Pinto grigio)

I voted "other."  I'm with LadyGoodman...a mimosa or bellini would be great at that time of day.  But like other PPs said, we are mostly women on WB.  Not sure how the men would feel about fruity beverages!

You know, I think I'd be more inclined to drink a drink that didn't taste like alcohol at noon... If it's cold, maybe some kind of spiked cider? Or a great sangria would be fantstic! It's light, it's different and you can add spices if you want a fall feel!

I don't like the choices, but I am picky and I there isn't much alcohol that I like.  So I do drink alcohol, but I would be perfectly happy with soda or water.

MMM. Some kind of cider would be awesome. I love spiked cider. But I don't think the caterer can provide that =( especially not at my budget...but I am having a party the day after for all my out of town friends and i think i'll make a big pot of spiced cider for that!! mmm.Smile i just love fall

My FI is very sad to see Guiness leave the poll.  He says he'd probably do water.  (which I find odd...we drink a lot of wine, but he doesn't think he'd do wine at lunch)

I think having both Miller and Bud Light is overkill.  If you are going to do two beers, I'd do one light/pale "big box" beer, and then one beer of a different style (either a dark stout/porter or an amber beer)  Would Bass be an option?

I'm all about drinking at lunch (we get up at 4am).

@nmsoonerbride: i'm not sure what our beer options are. i know we can get all the cheap somestic light beers, but not sure what available at our price range in full flavored beers. i'm hoping to get yuengling actually...i don't think guiness is worth the money since most people i know don't drink it.

I'm a beer drinker so Miller Lite or Bud Lite would be fine.

given that i'm sure you are trying to stick to a budget, i think these are great options. people that aren't big into day drinking are most likely going to drink soda or something no matter what, unless maybe you move to a much higher price point and that's not worth it. but for people who are day drinkers (me!) i think everyone will be able to find something on this list to drink. i voted for cabernet, FI would either have cabernet or a bud light (although if you add yuengling he would definitely choose that).

currently im pregnant, so i would have caffeine free soda, punch or water. and although i do normally drink wine, on occasion, i wouldnt miss it if it werent there. especially at noon.

i would rather have a nicer meal than wine at noon.
