I have been there and it’s great! My fiancé took me for my birthday. The food is great and they have a night club on the resort. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that it was difficult to get dinner reservations. The resort is huge so be ready to walk and upgrade to the swim out room. It’s kid friendly but can still be a romantic place.

@Kafrine:  We have been two times we went once in July and once in October for my birthday. The weather was rainy October. It rained everyday but it didnt matter because rain in Mexico is like tropic thunder strorm for 10mins and then 5 minutes later its back to paradise. July was nice it rained a few times but we went snorkling in the rain. If you go you have to do the excursions. Go snorking, we went atving in the mayan jungle and swam in the most beautiful cenotes, we also went on a surf and turf ship ride with a live saxophone player. The food is great and we had a blast. I have been to other resorts in Mexico but this by far was the best price.

@Kafrine:  We also took professional photos there. They have photographers that walk around and photograph you on the beach. And the price was reasonable.

@Kafrine:  We booked the swim out room the first trip and it was great! The only thing I didnt like was that the swim out rooms are connected by a canal and a community pool. So one morning the couple next door decided to swim up to our door and ask us where we were from. And another day kids were playing in there. But the second time we just booked a regular room on the 2nd floor. All of the rooms are great. My cousin stayed in one of the adult only honeymoon suites and she loved it. Just make sure when you go you book all of your resturant reservations right away. Its hard getting into the nicer resturants. And if you are ever hungry they offer a 24hour sports bar that serves ham/cheese, burgers, nachoes, and fries all night.
