Hi All! Getting married at the grandview and wasn't crazy about their cakes during our tasting...do they actually come from the Grandview or from someplace else like the Pastry Garden? We are thinking about bringing in our own cake because we want it to be yummy!

Hi! I'm pretty sure they make them at the Grandview. I don't know what you can do about taste, but in terms of the way they look, they are phenomenal at making them look exactly like you want them. I've read many posts where people brought pics and their cakes were replicated.

We felt the same way about the basic samples they had. I think the extra options might help but it is extra per person.

I havent chosen my cake yet but the best, we thought, was the white cake with the fresh strawberries. 

Hi there! WE got married this past weekend at the Grandview. cannot say enough great things about the venue. Loved it!! Believe it or not, the cake was delicious. WE just went with their choices, no extras. We were really surprised. I had foodie friends from NYC go out of their way to let me know how delicious the cake was.

I was surprised because we did the tasting in Feb and the cake was not that good. But the food at our wedding and the cake far surpassed everything at the tasting.

Enjoy your wedding. WE and our guests had a blast!!

We just went to our menu appointment and they had a couple cake samples that were fantastic! I couldn't believe the difference from the bridal show and the tastings.
