Oh those are nice.
I was thinking of doing something similar. But saving money is always nice.
Do you think the girls would care if the pearls not real?
I was planning on these:

Love them! And LOVE supporting fellow Esty artists! I designed and made all the jewelry for my BMs and bought all the supplies from Etsy suppliers. (I also bought my handmade Red Sox garter from Etsy, but I digress.) Jewelry is a great BM gift. It is something they can wear again and again and always remember your special day, and you save them from having to buy it for themselves.
I'm also making our bouquets from silk flowers and giving them to them in crystal vases. Just an idea...
I'm actually making my girls a "yearbook" of our friendship using blurb. I'll post about it later, after the wedding. They have no idea and I want to surprise them. :o)
I'm getting each a pendant necklace engraved with her initials -- and for my sister and MOH, her married monogram. I'm also getting each a gift certificate to 1154 LILL in Philly, and making each a picnic lunch. The picnic lunch and handbag store visit will be our day before the wedding activities, and then I'm paying for each to get her make-up done professionally the morning of the wedding. Phew! Hurts a bit in the wallet to see it all written out!
I found some awesome tote bags last summer on clearance, and am filling them with their necklace or earrings (haven't found the perfect ones yet), and a handbag to go with their dress, which I also found on clearance, but they are stunning. If I can find a good deal on some sandals, I'll probably throw that in too...I really want to offer to split the cost of hair on the day of, but I don't know, we'll see how the budget goes!
I personally lean towards the idea of getting the ladies something personal for them individually and something that has nothing to do with the wedding. I have a friend who is an avid gardener, and one who is into knitting, another that really likes books and reading, so I plan on getting each lady something unique to her.
I'm paying for each bridesmaid's sari, jewelry, and hair. As a thank you, I'm giving each one an individual gift. Each one of my bridesmaids is so different from the others that I wanted to get something for each that would mean something to her.
I am doing a beach bag with earrings for the wedding, flip flops and maybe paying for their manicures. If we have extra mone,y I may add a couple more items to the beach bag.
Just FYI bees
I contacted the seller (kymjewelry) around 11am today about what I wanted and what colors. She got back to me within 2 hrs and just sent me the pictures of the jewelry she just got done making for me!!!
Talk about a great seller!!!! ![]()
I haven't purchased anything yet, but I intend to give them each a jewelry roll - possibly embroidered with their initials - with jewelry inside of it, like earrings and a necklace.
I also like the spa gift certificate idea! Who doesn't like a little pampering? =)
A print in a frame from Briam Andres - they all have cute quotes on them, totally a keepsake. The prints will all be choosen based on bridesmaid of course and he has SO many options. Hopefully they'll hang it and keep it forever:) I'm also thinking about a tote, a necklace, and maybe something else...
I'm getting each girl a cast iron Japanese tea sets (tetsubins). They'll be set out at their table as centerpieces for the reception. Each one is getting a different shape and color, so it should look really interesting.
i've always been a multi-gift giver. i'm monogramming tote bags for each BM and stuffing them with tons of stuff! each BM is getting, a pair of classic black chuck taylors, a swarovski jewelry set, a travel bag filled with "emergency" and overnight goodies, a clutch to match the travel bag which is filled with makeup goodies, and possibly a cd with our fave music that we used to listen to throughout our friendship-- each BM comes from a diff group of friends so each cd will have diff music. ![]()
we are giving our entire bridal party a room at the venue the reception is at. I was also thinking about getting them each a cuff bracelet.
I paid for their hair, a pashmina for the wedding, foot petals, wine travel case with a bottle of wine inside. I love a few gifts rather then just one, but the most important gift was helping all of them financially it's tough times for people and a little help goes a long way.
