- Wedding: June 2012
I am definatly a budget bride. My dad lost his job right after I got engaged and I lost mine shortly afterwards. (Ecconomy is rough) so we have had to be very picky with where we spend our money. Well, I have been saving up so I can get all of the things I needed to decor wise and ended up saving quite a bit of money with some help from my sweetie.
So today I hit up Hobby Lobby’s sale to see what I could find and I found some GREAT deals that I wanted to share with you girls!!!
First off I found a stone monogram, with a stand. I’m not sure where I’ll put it, but I thought it was beautiful and I think we will keep it even after the wedding. It was origionally $19.99, but it was 40% off. The stand was origionally $2.99 but it was 40% off as well.
I also needed to get tea lights. They weren’t on sale but I got 200 for $11.99
I also got 4 spools of string pearls (100 feet each) the were orinionally $9.99 each but I got all 4 for $20. (I’m using them to make a chandelier and to sting into our centerpeices)
Next I found a beautiful dried grass that was covered in sparkles! It reminds me of wheat or light brown baby’s breath (sorry dont know exactly what it is) But it’s very shabby chic!! Which I adore! I wasn’t one sale but I got the bunch for $13.99.
I also got a bunch of light pink tulle for my flower girl dress that I am making. It was origionally $5.99 a roll, but I got 6 rolls for $2.67 each
I also got hot pink ribbon. Each spool for less than a dollar.
I also got a small white bird cage to use as a card box. It was origionally $ $20 something dollars, but on sale for 40% off!
Next I got rhinestone iron-on letter for the tote bags I’m making my bridesmaids. each oen was 99cents.
Also got my unity candle set. Origionally $29.99 but it was 40%off.
We got my fiances mother a hanky. Origionally $7.99 but it was 40% off
I got these crystal teardrops to hang off of the chandelier im making. Origionally $9.99, 40% off.
Also found this HUGH thing of glue on rhinestones (you can never have too many rhinestones) for $10
Also found this cool Garland for $7
And last but certianly not least the most beautiful Ivory lace! I got 3 yards. It’s more than a yard in width so I am either going to make an overlay for the sweethear table, or lace runners for all the tables. I was origionally $30 for the 3 yards, but i got it for $15!!!!!
So All together I spent less that $200 on all this great stuff! I feel so accomplished!!
If anyone else has found amaznig deals feel free to share!
