So, I have a really bad habit of making the same funny face in every picture, and tried really hard to appear relaxed and not nervous throughout the entire session. As such, out of over 100 photos, there are only about 5 that I like! Ugh, women… We are so hard on ourselves.
I just hope that the wedding is magically better. Did anyone else feel this way?
(These are all low-resolution sample images, I haven’t received the final ones.)

Beautiful pics!! I really love the first one. Your wedding pictures will be great, and try not to be too hard on yourself… I find it’s easier to love pictures when you’re looking back on them down the road and aren’t so critical 🙂

- Wedding: August 2013 - The Liberty House
I want to see the other face!!
BTW- it doesn’t magically get better. I would practice in the mirror if you want to make sure it’s better for the wedding =)

@MeiFrancis: Haha ohh, the other face. It will come out eventually. I managed to keep it at bay for the entire hour, believe it or not! I will start practicing… At least I will have more confidence going into it if I feel like I know how to hold my head/body. Thanks for the advice.
@MissMiaMarch: Thanks! I got them at Payless… shhhh!
@rubytuesday: You’re right… We are always overly critical in the moment. Thank you.

@Avalein: First off: You are beyond stunning. I cannot wait to see you as a bride.
Second off: “see above” 🙂

@Avalein: When I got my images back from my engagement session, I was laughing in a large amount of them. Not attractive. If I wasn’t laughing my face was still not natural. We did a themed shoot so I was trying to kind of be in character. Overall we did get about 30 shots I liked, but now I know for next time. Usually wedding shots are less posed than e-sesh ones, so I wouldn’t worry too much 🙂
