Sorry I couldnt continue the post - anyways she got us a silver heart frame for the heart, a pincone with "snow" on it, a little mini Santa, a fish holding up a sign that says No Fishing, a gingerbread house for the house, a watering can with flowers in it for the flower basket, an apple for the fruit, a brightly colored abstract Xmas tree for the tree, a crystal bird for the bird, a snoman that was like a smores for the snowman, a silver bell that said Christmas 2009 on it for the bell and a long swizzle stick like candy for the candy. She also got us each an ornament with the letter of our new last name too.
Anyways, thought some of you newlyweds would like this gift idea, or you can use it to get your newlywed friends a gift :)
What a great gift idea! Most everyone can use new ornaments, especially newlyweds!
Such a thoughtful gift!! I will definitely keep this in mind when someone I know gets married!

I just have to tell you about this great thoughtful gift my boss got me and my friend (we both got married this year). She got the idea from her friend. This is a letter that was included with the gift:

A Couple’s First Noel

According to an old world tradition a couple’s Christmas tree should include certain ornaments to ensure happiness

I hope that as the Christmas’ pass through the years and you take your ornaments out to decorate you will look back on these symbols and remember the happiness your first holiday together brought.
