We used Wedshare. It was about $175 for 18 months of service and we have our own domain name.
i have a friend that did weddingwindow.com and it was great. they also have free trials too!
i made my own and did the whole shebang designing it.
It also depends whether you want it to be interactive, collect/store RSVP/contacts. See this website for user reviews of various wedding website.
I did weddingtracker.com...regular price is I think $60 for 12 months, but if you sign up on TheKnot.com it's $30 when you get the discount code. You get your own flash websites and you can personaly customize it how you want. If you want to look at mine it's andreaandchinelo.com...
We used weddingwindow.com and we loved it. It's very user-friendly, offers a wide variaty of designs and you can customize. They are always coming up with new tools to make the wedding planning process easier (guest list tracker, RSVP system, etc.) Check out ours here.
I just remember this other threat here

hope that helps!
I really like weddingchannel.com! my old boss recomended it and it is also free!
@ pren79: thanks for the review website! So useful & helpful!
We used mywedding.com. Gorgeous templates and it's free and easy to use!
I'm using www.ewedding.com
They have a bunch of cute templates, and you can have a free site or pay as little as $5 a month for your own domain name of your choosing. I chose this site, because after everything is done and over with, you can order a CD-ROM with your website on it for a neat, little keepsake.
You can check out my site if you'd like: www.NicholeAndRoy.com
WE used momentville.com because it was free AND ultra customizable. I would highly recommend it.
Like someone else said, I mywedding.com is great! Variety of cute templates, free, easy to personalize and navigate. Not sure about the RSVP tracker and all that though.
You could always get one of those basic websites, then buy a domain name for cheap (godaddy.com has alot for 9.99) and have it redirect to your simple website. It looks like you spent alot of money and it makes it alot simpler to find (I've had alot of people have trouble with getting to websites hosted on wedding websites because they couldn't type it in right!).
I used projectwedding and have gotten a lot of compliments on it. They had some great designs and best of all it was free!

I wanted to get some information from other brides that have a personal website. I am about to do our std cards and want to do a website as well for people to check out. I don't want one that is over rated with $30 a month fees, Just want something simple that is easy to upload pictures and basic information too. If anyone knows of the best one out there please let me know! Thanks!
