Cute idea, but I think there are some awkward years where I would not want to show photos :)
i LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea... it's jsut a matter of being able to remember dates and ages and awkward teenage years! ;)
Haha, I love this idea... if only years 8-16 were not quite so... awkward for me!
This is what we were originally planning to do (awkward years and all!) but FI couldn't seem to find something for every year=(
Instead, we're going to use photos of us dating. We dated about 19 months before getting engaged and will have about 18-20 tables, so it shoudl work out surprisingly well!!
That is a really cute idea! I was a total dork at 7 I think it would be cute to have that as a theme!!
I've seen this done a handful of times, it's really charming. One couple did theirs by year, like you'd be sitting at the 2001 table and see their senior portraits from high school side by side.
We're doing locations that have been meaningful to us. We were a long-distance couple for two and a half years, plus we love to travel together, so it's actually really hard narrowing it down to seven or so cities.
Love this! My FMIL loves taking pictures so she has tons and this makes for a good project for her and one less thing that I have to take care of.
I'm hoping it will encourage people to mingle around since our cocktail hour and reception are in the same room.
