FI and I booked our honeymoon last week and it is worth mentioning that we got an AMAZING deal on a cruise due to him being active duty. We contacted Carnival directly and got almost $300 off per person.
Also, Walt Disney World is offering free 5-day admission to soldiers and $99 admission for dependents through this year. In addition, you can get 40% moderately priced hotels.
I’m not a travel agent (far from it) but finding these deals have allowed us to have a honeymoon beyond what we could have imagined.
Have you found any good military travel deals?

Wow, those are really great deals! I’ll have to tell my hubby bout the Disney World offer as we’ll be going back there this summer! We went there for our honeymoon, and they upgraded our room to a King Suite because my DH is active duty Navy. So it never hurts to flash your Military ID!
I don’t know of any other good military travel deals off the top of my head, but I do know that here in San Diego, you can get into the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park for free if you’re active duty military. Sea World has free admission for active duty as well, but I think that’s only for a specific time frame, not all year like the zoo and animal park. So if you’re ever visiting SD and you’re active duty, make sure to check out the zoo and wild animal park!

OMG YES! The Chase Park Plaza was $110 a night with a military discount. We got a hotel for our wedding night for $65 with his ID. I just can’t believe those prices..they’re more than half off the regular hotel price!
You get into all the theme parks and stuff like that at a huge price discount, or free. We were able to get a discount on catering and location because they were military supporters, too! In fact, most places we knew were very supportive of that and offered a discount.
Discount flights sometimes or upgraded seats (esp if you are in uniform) and I have hear that travel agents work with you. We found one that offered a military clause in their cancellation policy so that if he magically got redeployed or refuseed leave, we could take it later. Not all places offered this to us (some of them were like "oh that means too bad for you" and I would ask them why I would give them my business if they weren’t going to support my FI in serving his country for them?), but American Airlines Vacations was very good about their military policy….and we got a monstrous discount
