I love the second option.  It is classic and beautiful.  The first is very pretty but it does not reel me in.

I have a light blue sapphire and even though it is light the color has a lot of depth that pictures don’t convey. But I only got that with a very high quality sapphire that costs more thanya moissy. To compare, I’ve never seen a colored missy so I don’t know how intense the color is. I think since the moissy is more the color you want, so you’ll probably be happier with it. Can you see if the make of the other ring can set a moissy for you instead of a sapphire?

The green moissy with the twig band is absolutely stunning. I love everything about it!

I like the first stone in the second setting. I’m sure they could do that for you. What kind of band would you put with the twig erring. Are you a modern kind of girl? If so I like the second setting.

I think the light blue sapphire with the pave is more timeless. Plus, sapphires are such a special stone and I feel like everyone can appreciate the significance of a sapphire as an engagement ring  stone. It seems like this is the stone and band that you can enjoy for a lifetime, without worrying if it will go out of style.

The moissy is a nice color and I think the twig band is fun, but it just doesn’t hit me as an engagement ring. Also, at a quick glance, I’m worried that people might think that there is something wrong with your band. The artful twig becomes less obvious when it is on the hand. (judging by the hand picture).

Just my opinion…it depends on what you like the best and the look that you are going for ๐Ÿ™‚ Best of luck to you and your final decision!!

Do you have a picture of the color sapphire. I looked on the Etsy site because I’m recovering from knee surgery and can’t do much. The very first ring, is that the stone?

I am a sucker for alternative stones, so definitely the 1st. The thing that would frustrate me about the 2nd one is people always assuming it’s a diamond and having to explain that it’s not!

What about the bluish green sapphire in the second setting. They don’t have that stone shown but it seems more like what you were describing.
