Greeting guests timing– can't decide!

I would let them come in, sit down, get a drink and eat. I’m not a fan of recieving lines in general. I would not be a happy camper if I had to stand in line outside in July!

I’d much rather talk to the couple when we could actually have a conversation rather than the “hi, congratulations” that tends to be all you can get in during a receiving line!

Yah, I agre with you. Just let them go inside and then go around to the tables later. We had 20 tables and got to all of them through our 3 course meal, and we ate our entire meal comfortably as well.

We greeted guests during dinner- no one was upset that we stopped by while they were eating.
