I am doing the same color for my bridesmaids! I am getting married in march so its the end of winter beinging of fall and I thought it would be appropriate. What is your accent color?
i love it! one of the color combos i always liked before getting engaged was charcoal grey with pink or peach. it will look so elegant and look nice w/the black tuxedos!
I REALLY wanted grey BM dresses, but couldn't find them anywhere. I say go for it!! It's the weddings with the unconventional touches that are the best!! :)
Wow, I love the grey steel colour. It's a great formal look and another alternative to black. You really have lots of other colour choices to put with it for flowers. I think it's great.
I've seen some grey bridesmaid dresses in color inspiration boards and the grey looked reallly pretty! If both you and MoH love it, then it's all it matters. :)
Aw I love it! I wanted my girls to be in grey, but I thought black would be more versatile for them--not a major sacrifice on my part. Post a picture so we can see! :D
Thanks ladies! I am planning on having really vibrant colored bouquets, like dark pink, purple, with a dash or orange. I think they will look really pretty together and in the pictures!
I went to Bella Bridesmaids in Los Angeles - they are a chain and they had by far the nicest bridesmaid dresses I have seen. After wearing many David's Bridal bridesmaid dressesm I vowed to make sure my bridesmaids actually looked good in theirs. The pricing isn't that bad either and I have heard that if you order during a trunk show, you get a discount, which is what we are going to try to do.
We did "mis-matched" grey dresses. There are pics in my bio. I think Mrs. Penguin had grey dresses too... check out some of her recaps, too! I LOVE grey. :)

I went with my MOH today to pick out the bridesmaid dresses from Priscilla of Boston. We found a floor length strapless steel (dark grey) dress that we both really like. I've never seen a wedding with grey bridesmaid dresses before. What do you think of this? This isn't really traditional, but I'm hoping it turns out nice. Originally, I wanted navy dresses, but I think that these would clash with the black tuxedos on the guys.
