I'm still totally in a funk over this... like Alex needs to loose another woman her loves!?! I knew KH wanted to leave, but I too thought she was staying, so I don't know. I was so sad when I found out it was George :( I hope they both don't go.

At first when Izzy got the brain tumor I was happy because I thought she'd be leaving the show--Izzy became such an annoying character to me once her and George started sleeping with each other. I would turn the TV when she was on sometimes. But surprisingly, I started liking her character with the brain tumor. My guess is that she makes it through and George dies. I think it would be a blow to the show to have two doctors die...also George was practically going to leave anyway since he signed up for the Army. And I can't imagine them having an armless, battered George on the show next season.
I hope Meredith and Derek make the post-it marriage legal.

Thanks, French. From what the article said, I think I'm going with George-out. Izzy-stays. (i'm with you latoya.) IDK. But I don't see them wanting to lose two at once. Besides, KH is a biger star, and will probably keep her for ratings. And I hope poor Alex doesn't lose another girl :( But what he said to Izzy was really mean. Ithought when he went back in her room to tell her he was sorry, and didn't mean it, that she was going to tell him they were over.
Also, I've never been really huge into Christina's character. Is she a robot or what? But I get into this whole thing she has with Owen.
I find KH really annoying in real life, but I like her on the show. I really like Christina's character and her relationship with Mer cracks me up. I screamed OUT LOUD when George did the whole 007 thing in Meridith's hand. OMG, did not see that coming. I really hope that MerDer {I hate that but it's so easy to type} make the marriage legal before anything comes between them again. I can't handle that.
I was so happy my husband was in bed before I watched it. I did the ugly cry for a good 15 minutes.! I hate season finales and the waiting that goes with them. I just want to know what happens and who is staying don't toy with my emotions!
Aah, I forgot to ask. What was the whole thing with 007? I don't know how I missed it. But did George tell Meredith that he wanted to be James Bond or something? (I saw him write 007 in her hand, and didn't get what the probelm was until she went screaming it was george to everyone.)

Tanya -- 007 is what they all called George in the first season, since he messed up his first surgery. 007 = License to Kill. Christina and Alex sometimes only refer to George by 007.

It was such a sad episode. I couldn't believe what happened to Izzy and was totally surprised that they would have George join the military. I can't wait to see what happens next season!
I'm pretty sure Izzy makes it because A) she was still in the elevator and B) the last thing you heard before the show was over was "hang on stevens"
But I've gotta say, the guy being George was probably the best twist I've ever seen on TV.

Cole B -- Me too! I cried the second to last episode but didn't for the finale (unusual for me). I think the two hours was a little stretched out!

Reading another post that mentioned Grey's, I thought I'd start this one. Did you like it? Did you not? I wasn't up on who wanted to leave and who didn't. I thought I heard somewhere that katherine Heigl was staying, but I don't remember exactly now. So is George officially dead? Or is everyone still up in the air a bit?
I thought Geroge's character was getting less intersting. But I love Izzy and Alex together :(
