Since your fiance is going to adopt her, how about "Daddy's Little Girl," assuming you're not using it already for your bride/father dance?
I wouldn't go with "Brown Eyed Girl." The song is actually really inappropriate for speaking of someone's daughter--the part about making love with her in the green grass behind the stadium.
My step-dad did the same thing to me at my mom and his wedding. He said vows to me and gave me a ring too with my favorite color stone. It was so sweet and I loved it. How about "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle? That was our song as a family on their wedding day.

I need some suggestions for songs for my fiance to dance to with my 4 year old daughter. She will be just turning 6 at the time of our wedding. My fiance has been the only father she has ever know and has been a part of her life since she just turned 3. He plans to adopt her once we marry in August 2012. He is also planning on saying vows to her at the ceremony and possibly giving her some sort of ring, locket or charm bracelet. I need the perfect song for the two of them to dance to at the wedding. Something that really hits home base, since he hasn't been there since birth but he is the only father she has ever known and he will be adopting her. Suggestions?
