I have a daughter who will be 6 at our wedding. My Fiance has been in her life since before she was 2. He already is a parent to her in every way. Her dad is in her life but my fiance is more the role model / father type. We are including her in the ceremony itself but I was thinking it would be nice to have a song for them to dance togather at the reception.
I have searched and can’t really find any fitting, any ides???
Also I don’t want the typical cheesy stuff you hear at almost every wedding. So
NOT Butterfly Kisses or He didn’t have to be. I don’t want either of those.

I am marrying the most amazing man and father ever. I am so lucky to have found both of these boys and they have changed my life. I am dancing with my step-son at the wedding as well. He is a little younger than your daughter, but I asked him what he wanted to dance to. He has decided on Michael Buble’s “Save the Last Dance for me” So cute! Have you asked your daughter? She might have an idea.

I am in the same boat. My daughter will be 6 years old when I marry my fiance. Her biological father is not in the picture (never has been) and my fiance has been her “father figure” since she was two. My fiance plans to adopt my daughter after we marry. I am looking for the perfect song for my fiance and my daughter to dance to, but I am having no luck finding something suitable. Any suggestions?
