I think that if you keep the tux and the suits somewhat in the same formalness then that would be fine. Maybe something classic like
I'm thinking of going this route as well. We were looking at buying the guys their suits as groomsmen gifts. Does anyone have photos of this? I've bene googling but haven't had much luck!
I think this is an OK idea for sure! I don't really think it matters - they will be the same colors and the small differences will just make your room stand out more formally, which I think is the point.
I have this same question. Would it look OK if the groom wears a bowtie and the groomsmen wear ties?
Ive been thinking of doing this with dark gray suits for the groomsmen and a tux with a bowtie for my fiancé- because that's what I want him to wear!. I think it will actually look nice but couldn't find any photos either. If anyone has done this, please share some pics :)
I strongly believe they all need to be tux or all suits or all morning coats

Ok, so I know there have been previous posts on the groom wearing a tux and the groomsmen wearing suits, but they were a while ago and I am new to this, so I'm asking again. My fiance is going to wear a tux (because I've decided I want him to and that's that haha), but I really don't care what his groomsmen wear. Our wedding is going to be fairly elegant, but really I mostly care about what he and I look like in our wedding pics. All of his groomsmen have black suits, so do you think it will look ok if they're wearing their black suits and my fiance wears a tux? I know nothing about men's suits, will it look funny???
