so my grrom is determined to also wear white on our wedding day and i am totally against it!!!! i think he will look ridiculous, here in NM they all wear white and i hate the way it looks he is pretty dark brown and i think it will just clash with his skin and im very pale and with me and my diamond white dress, and all of our bridal party in black!!!!. i tried to reason with and do the black tux with white vest and tie and his groomsmen in also black but with red vest and red tie. hes not buying it and still wants white!!!! im also worried as i will be wearing makeup of course on our wedding day and would prefer not to have my face makeup all over his suit!!!
My fiance also want to wear white or cream. I keep hearing its gheeto for the groom to wear white but I say do what works for you.
I'm not a fan of the groom in white because it reminds me of a high school prom. I know at one point in time a white jacket was "classic" (ie. Dean Martin, etc.) but now I'm just kinda eh about that look :/
I don't know about the white tux, but I've been looking at photos of beach weddings and a lot of the grooms seem to wear white shirts - some cotton dress shirts and some linen. I think they look good with their white-dressed brides. I don't think the white tux would be so bad if it is what he really, really wants. This is a tough one....

Hello ladies. I need some input. My groom thinks he might want to wear a white tux while our bridesmaids and groomsmen are in black, and I'm not totally against the idea. I was wondering if anyone else had a groom that decided to wear white, if it clashed for pictures, and if you have any photos you can share. I brought the idea up to my parents and they weren't to thrilled about it and thought it wouldn't look good. In the end this is our day and we will make the final decision, but I just need input. Thanks!
