What color exactly is Alabaster?  can you compare the two somehow before making your decision?

I’m not real sure what color alabaster is either. Maybe see if you can take a “swatch” to compare them?…

All of our guys and I wore white and it really worked =D

My FI nad his friends wanted pinstriped tuxes, I was dead set against it, but we went and looked at tuxes and thats what we picked out in the end.

I’m not really into the look of the white/off-white tuxes, but i would go and look at them first before you say no.

I think it could look fantastic, if you pick the right hue. Think more along the lines of a light taupe, and less of an off white. In my mind i’m picturing grey undertones, and not yellow undertones. You’d also have to be really careful with the groomsmen suits. What are your colours?

My hubby wore an ivory jacket and black pants. Humphrey Bogart style. He looked great. My dress was champagne. It really looked nice. If you’ll notice the shirt is actually white, because an ivory shirt actually looke more yellow. You’d be surprised how they don’t actually have to match to look really crisp. EDIT I switched pics so you can see us together

At first I wasn’t sure about the ivory tux thing, but it might look really sharp with the purple BM dresses and your dress…but I think @mwitter80 went about it the right way when her groom wore a more classic Bogart style….

My best friend just got married and he wore a white tux at his (just like the one from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and yes, that was his intention, we’re nerds). It looked great on him. It was very similar to the one posted above. I think it can be pulled off quite well.
