Groom's gift?

posted 3 months ago in Beehive

I have plenty of time, but I know my groom definitely doesn't want the usual watch or cufflinks as a gift ... just wanted to see if anyone had any fun/different ideas for a gift from a bride to her groom?

I'm doing boudouir photos...this weekend actually! I will most likely put them on Shutterfly.com and making a nice coffee table style book (though not actually for the coffee table :)

I am going to buy him cologne (something very small as I got him a watch already for an engagement/wedding gift) so he can have something to remember that day by.  I am not sure what kind yet but he loves Jo Malone and Creed so probably one of those scents.

Pinklau, does Jo Malone make men's scents?!  I LOVE her perfume!

I made him hand-knit socks and wrapped them in a bag that said "In case of cold feet."

ljlk - HILARIOUS!!  I dont knit but I think that would just make him laugh -- and it would work well because we're having a winter wedding in Boston, and it will be cold that day!

hmmmm.... I got him a watch, but only because I know he has been wanting a nice one for years.  His birthday was the day before our wedding and I got him a really nice shaving set from Art of Shaving - stand, fancy razor, fancy brush - but if your guy isn't a metrosexual that probably will not be very exciting for him.  I also left him a bottle of really good tequila in his hotel room the night before the wedding to relax his nerves :)
