we skipped gifts to each other, and instead picked out souvenirs that we both liked while on our honeymoon that we may not have gotten otherwise - nice christmas ornaments and bottle stoppers - we love christmas and wine, so both will be well used and well loved. and they remind us of our honeymoon and our wedding!

Theirs are a little more expensive but it is a very classic brand. I think you may even be able to get his initials on the leather cover. I love the idea of the compass too, as well as a very nice piece of carry on luggage. I think a gorgeous leather duffle with his initials would be something he could use over and over again. It would probably last longer as well since you do not check it.
