I’m getting married next week and having a lot of trouble putting together the seating arrangements. My fiance has a whole crop of best buddies (there are 5 of them) from way back in highschool that I’m sure would like to be seated together. Problem is – I had a chance to finally meet them a few weeks ago and though they are all nice guys, all they seem to be able to talk about is highschool and the Vegas Bachelor party/drinking weekend they all just went on (Boy will be boys, I suppose.) I’m worried that if I seat them all together, they will not only allienate the other guests at the table, but may start causing some disruptions for the older crowd (my parents’ friends can be a little stuffy.) The best man has already told one of my bridesmaids that he’s planning on the event being “sort of a speed dating experience” which she didn’t take particularly well. These aren’t 19 year old kids either. We’re all around late 20’s to early 30’s. I think they’re just stuck in college mode. Any suggestions? Thanks!
