Weddingbee boards

As part of Asian tradition, my parents is buying my FI the suit he is wearing to at the wedding. I am sure he will look great in it!

My question is what should his Best Man and groomsmen wear? Usually the whole male side just goes to a rental place and rent the same style suit, tie, vest, cumberbund, etc. But in this case, we want a uniform look (not exactly the same, but similar would be nice). Should we ask them to wear all black suits and buy the same ties and vest? Is there a less costly solution?

Did anyone else encounter this issue? What did you do in your situation?

Can you pick out the rentals first, and then go pick out the suit for Fi that your parents are going to buy? That way, you know they will match. It's harder to go the other way around. You can then buy the same tie and vest which is less costly than trying to get the BM and GM's to buy the same suit.

For us, my mom still bought Mr. snowpea a suit (which he wore another time) and he got a free rental at the tux shop when the GM's rented theirs which he wore to the wedding.

Thanks girls! I'll definately check out the rental selection. I think at the end of the day, every guy has a black suit.
