- Wedding: June 2009
I have 8 days to go with our wedding and we’ve had a rough past month. Our wedding planning was on halt for 2 weeks because my mom had gone in to brain surgery. With her recovery going well, we decided to keep the wedding with the original date. However, now we didn’t have a photographer, dj, florist, or cake baker, along with other little things like rings, honeymoon.. etc.
Well I’ve been blessed to have a wonderful future husband who is helping me out so much. He’s booked the photographer, dj, cake baker, rings, and honeymoon. He’s helping me with EVERYTHING right now. Especially considering I have to work 12 hour days to gather up hours to go on our honeymoon. Its just amazing how things are being pulled together, and I am not doing a lot of it. I’m one of those people that like to do things on their own because I don’t trust that others will do what I expect. But boy was I wrong, giving up things to work on was such a relief. And by now I realized that I have to trust that my future husband will do a good job, maybe not all the details I expect but good enough. 🙂
Is anyone else have the same problem of giving up work because of trust/expectation issues? Anyone else blessed with a groom helping out as much as he can?
