(Closed) Groomsmaids?

I’m having one. My fiance is really close to his sister so it makes more sense. It’s fine to do in a Catholic ceremony. They don’t really care about the attendants, as long as you have 2 to act as witnesses.

Its not a part of of the Catholic ritual to have a wedding party beyond your witnesses which are typically your maid of honor and your best man.  That said, my husband had my brothers and only one of his friends as a groomsmen.  He also asked a good male friend of mine to be a groomsmen, but he was downgraded to an usher because I had issues with my bridesmaids.  We were going to have my husband’s sister as a bridesmaid, but she wasn’t comfortable with it and refused.  So I had my sister and two of my friends.
